Why is online training still not valued / underestimated?
We have observed that after some time of enthusiasm for online training and webinars, a certain familiarity and professionalism has developed on the one hand, but on the other hand participants and managers still live a certain “online training tourism”. Webinars and online training are attended on the side and perceived as “information events”.
What are the hurdles?
- Lack of learning culture (in terms of acceptance by managers, self-directed learning...)
- Online training courses are perceived as “only for beginners”
- Online learning time is not yet accepted as active learning time
- not experienced as practically relevant
- Required technical equipment is not always available
Do you have the feeling that your participants are still “consuming” training and webinars instead of proactively and self-directedly participating? Are online trainings still a challenge for you?
If you…
